How to Restore an Iphone

All Apple products have delivered great performance throughout their generations, making the Cupertino brand a market benchmark. Part of the merit is due to your iOS operating system.

We spend hours in front of our mobiles: we make thousands of photos, listen to hundreds of songs and even have become a tool for more work. But what happens when we use both our device? It is full of files that we save and we do not use, causing our phone to stop working properly. Therefore, a restoration is a highly recommended practice. Today we tell you how to perform this process on an iPhone.

RESTORE OR RESTORE AN IPHONE

First, it is important to know the differences between resetting and restoring, since for most of us it may seem the same, but it is not. If we do a reset on our iPhone, we will only be able to fix minor problems, because what we will do will be to return to your initial configuration aspects of the system separately. But if, on the contrary, what we do is restore the terminal, we will return our terminal to its factory state, which will erase all our applications and data.

How to restore an iphone

For minor problems, such as difficulty connecting to a Wi-Fi network, we recommend that you perform a reset.

  1. Go to Settings on the home screen.
  2. Go to the General section .
  3. Go to the option Reset and select it.

After these three steps you will have six different options, choose the one that best fits your problem. Here are the options you will find.

  1. Reset settings.
  2. Delete content and settings.
  3. Reset network settings.
  4. Reset keyboard.
  5. Reset home screen.
  6. Reset location and privacy.

If the problem is more serious and is not among the previous ones, then you will have to restore your terminal. For this case we recommend that you do a backup before doing so since your iPhone will be left blank after the restoration and there may be errors during the process that completely erase the internal information.

The steps you must follow to restore an iPhone are:

  1. If you have already done the backup, the first thing you have to do is disable the Find my iPhone option .
  2. Connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC with iTunes.
  3. Go to iTunes and click on the Summary tab to see the mobile information.
  4. Find the Restore option in the Summary tab , select and confirm.

This process will take a few minutes. After the restoration you can configure your iPhone as a completely new device or restore the backup you have done before, you will notice how it improves its performance.
